Yvette Rodriguez
Yvette started practicing yoga in 2005 after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. She attended yoga classes and her determination, and resilience helped her overcome the physical challenges. Yvette was able to heal her body, mind, and soul through steady practices of asana, pranayama, and meditation. In May 2021, she retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs after serving Veterans for 30 years. Yvette’s dream and passion was to be able to teach Yoga to all walks of life especially those that struggle with physical challenges. Her dream became a reality as she recently graduated from the Ananda Ashram Society of NY and completed 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program allowing her to continue her spiritual path and devote her life to serving others.
As a Yoga teacher, Yvette will have the ability to make a huge impact on her students. She will share the importance of spiritual development and help the students feel inspired, relaxed, and above all, connected!
